What is the mission of R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2?

We work to bring together a community collaboration to build healthy relationships among children and youth through theatre.

When are you available? How far in advance do I need to book?

Generally, we are booked 2 - 3 months in advance. Availability changes minute to minute. Please see our schedule of shows for an idea of our availability. NOTE: The schedule posted changes consistently. Availability may change.

How much does is cost?

Based off R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2’s 2009-2010 budget, it costs nearly $1,500 for R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 to present one program. However, due to the generosity of various foundations and organizations, R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 is able to offer each program at a substantially reduced rate. The below costs reflect this reduced rate.

The base cost of our program is:

In town (Omaha): $175 for each Pre-K, Parent Training, and Teacher Training

$275 for each K – 12 programs

Out of town (Out of Omaha): $350 for each Pre-K, Parent Training, and Teacher Training

$500 for each K – 12 programs

Plus mileage at the NE state rate of $.55/mile and per diem (mileage rates subject to change)

Are there grants available for R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 to visit our school/organization?

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 continually applies for grants to sustain the reduced cost automatically offered to help schools and organizations with the cost. Please contact us for availability/conditions.

Does R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 qualify for stimulus funds for my school?

It is R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2’s understanding that R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 programs meet the criteria for stimulus funds. Please contact your district to see if these funds may be used for R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 programs. You may want to ask your districts Director of Curriculum/Development, Director of Special Education, Director of Title 1, or Director of Personnel Development.

Does R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 offer trainings for Parents or Educators?

How long does each program last?

Pre-K – "Puppy Pals" lasts 30 minutes

Each K – 12 show lasts 60 minutes

Parent and Teacher Trainings generally last 90 minutes, but can be flexible.

What grade levels do you have programs for?

We have programs for pre-K through adult. Please click on plays to see which programs would be most age appropriate.

Can R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 perform more than one show per day?

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 can perform a maximum of 4 plays in one day.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 prefers to perform the shows back-to-back if the school schedule allows this possibility.

What is your maximum audience size?

Generally, a comfortable maximum for R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 is 250 students/adults. However, we are flexible. Please contact us for more information.

How do I book R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 to visit my school/organization?

Please contact us to book R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 Our Program Director, Brandon Rohe, will be your primary contact for scheduling.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 is visiting my school/organization. What does R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 need from us?

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 is very flexible, and has performed in nearly every imaginable space. Generally, we perform in gymnasiums or multi-purpose rooms.

Generally, we only need five chairs and a hand-held microphone for our talkback session. The actors do not require microphones for the performance.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 highly encourages the school/organizations professional counselors to be present during the presentation.

I left a message or an email a while ago, and I still have not heard back from R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 What should I do?

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 consistently travels throughout Nebraska and Iowa, and thus may be unavailable for immediate assistance. Please feel free to contact us via voicemail at 402.965.1425 or at info@respect2all.org. Somebody will get back to you as soon as possible.

Are there any educational handouts or materials to accompany a R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 performance?

Prior to R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2’s arrival, your school or organization will receive a contract packet including performance agreements, copies of the scripts, introductions to the plays, educator handouts, and resource guides to help your school or organization with any pre-teaching activities.

Upon arrival, R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 will provide you each student with a handout we encourage they bring to their adults at home.

All materials are available on our website. Please click on resources to access student resources, parent resources, or teacher resources. Also, every resource is approved for duplication.

NOTE: Scripts are copyrighted and owned exclusively by R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2. Therefore the scripts are not online or for public use. Please contact us for further inquiries.

Can R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 help collect data about bullying in my school/organization?

How many shows does R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 perform in a year?

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 performs around 250 plays per calendar year. However, in the 2008-2009 school year, R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 performed 313 plays for over 40,000 students and adults. Please click here for our latest newsletter.

Can my school/organization perform a R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 script?

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 exclusively owns the rights to all scripts currently performed.  R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 scripts may not be performed by any school or organization other than R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2 without the prior written consent of R.E.S.P.E.C.T.2.
